NFT & Digital Asset Risk Disclosure
Important information to consider before interacting with NFTs or blockchain marketplaces.
Last updated: 26 August 2026
NFTs and other digital assets involve technical and market risks. This disclosure is intended to present those risks clearly and proportionately.
Market value
NFT prices can rise or fall, sometimes significantly. An NFT can lose some or all of its market value. NftsMystery does not guarantee resale value, profit or future market demand.
Liquidity
A buyer may not be available when you want to sell. Liquidity is not guaranteed, and marketplace activity can change over time.
Blockchain transactions
Blockchain transactions can be irreversible. Sending an asset to an incorrect address, using the wrong network or approving an unintended transaction may result in permanent loss.
Wallet security
You are responsible for protecting your wallet, device, recovery information and transaction approvals. NftsMystery will never ask for your seed phrase, recovery phrase, private key or wallet password.
Smart-contract and network risk
Smart contracts, blockchains, bridges, wallets and related software can contain technical defects, vulnerabilities, outages or unexpected behaviour. Network fees and availability can also change.
Third-party marketplace risk
OpenSea and other third-party services operate independently of NftsMystery and have their own terms, security controls, availability and risks. Always verify the marketplace URL and collection contract.
No financial advice
Nothing on NftsMystery should be understood as financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Collectors should make their own decisions based on their circumstances and, where appropriate, seek independent professional advice.
Use the NftsMystery Official Collection Registry to confirm active official collection contracts.
